Schools / Students can register for GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) only if students have a valid and unique email ID. It is compulsory to have a unique e-mail ID for students because information related to the examination will be sent only on this ID.
GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQs). There is no negative marking.
Schools affiliated with a recognized education board/trust can register for this Olympiad.
Individual registrations from students will also be accepted.
Students from Standard 6th to 12th can appear for either one or all subjects in the following categories:
Junior Category (Class 6th, 7th, & 8th)
Sub-Senior Category (Class 9th & 10th)
Senior Category (Class 11th & 12th)
The duration of the examination is 60 minutes.
The exam will be in 2 languages Hindi and English.
The exam will be organized through ONLINE mode only.
Students can appear only on the chosen date and time, which cannot be changed later under any circumstances.
Schools/students are requested to check the website for regular updates
A Computer/Laptop/Mobile with a high-speed internet facility should be available for students to appear for this online examination.
Results will be available online. All registered participants will receive a certificate of Rank/Excellence/Distinction/Appreciation/Participation based on their performance.
If there are any threatening/illogical arguments regarding the Exam, Pattern, Results, and/or Awards, even after initially agreeing to all conditions and responding with specific resolutions to the queries, the said participant's subscription and scholarship will be terminated, and the results will be discarded.
The decision made by the Management of the GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) shall be final and binding on all parties involved.
विद्यालय / छात्र जियोविज्ञान राष्ट्रीय अंतर-विद्यालय ओलंपियाड (एनआईएसओ) के लिए पंजीकरण तभी कर सकते हैं जब छात्रों के पास एक वैध और विशिष्ट ईमेल आईडी हो। छात्रों के लिए एक यूनिक ई-मेल आईडी होना अनिवार्य है क्योंकि इसी आईडी पर ही परीक्षा से संबंधित जानकारी भेजी जाएगी।
जियोविज्ञान राष्ट्रीय अंतर-विद्यालय ओलंपियाड (एनआईएसओ) में बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (एमसीक्यू) और एकाधिक चयन प्रश्न (एमएसक्यू) शामिल होंगे। कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं होगा।
किसी मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षा बोर्ड/ट्रस्ट से संबद्ध विद्यालय इस ओलंपियाड के लिए पंजीकरण करा सकते हैं।
छात्रों से व्यक्तिगत पंजीकरण भी स्वीकार किए जाएंगे।
कक्षा 6वीं से 12वीं तक के छात्र निम्नलिखित श्रेणियों में से किसी एक या सभी विषयों के लिए उपस्थित हो सकते हैं:
कनिष्ठ श्रेणी (कक्षा 6वीं, 7वीं और 8वीं)
उप-वरिष्ठ श्रेणी (कक्षा 9वीं और 10वीं)
वरिष्ठ श्रेणी (कक्षा 11वीं और 12वीं)
परीक्षा की अवधि 60 मिनट है।
परीक्षा 2 भाषाओं हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में होगी।
परीक्षा केवल ऑनलाइन मोड के माध्यम से आयोजित की जाएगी।
छात्र केवल चुनी हुई तिथि और समय पर ही उपस्थित हो सकते हैं, जिसे बाद में किसी भी परिस्थिति में बदला नहीं जा सकता।

छात्रों को इस ऑनलाइन परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए एक उच्च गति इंटरनेट सुविधा के साथ एक कंप्यूटर/लैपटॉप/मोबाइल उपलब्ध होना चाहिए।
परिणाम ऑनलाइन उपलब्ध होंगे। सभी पंजीकृत प्रतिभागियों को उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर रैंक/उत्कृष्टता/विशिष्टता/प्रशंसा/भागीदारी का प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त होगा।
यदि परीक्षा, पैटर्न, परिणाम, और/या पुरस्कारों के संबंध में कोई धमकी/अतार्किक तर्क देते हैं, भले ही आरंभ में सभी शर्तों से सहमत हों और प्रश्नों के विशिष्ट समाधान के साथ उत्तर दिये हों, तो भी उक्त प्रतिभागी की सदस्यता और छात्रवृत्ति समाप्त कर दी जाएगी, और परिणाम त्याग दिया जाएगा।
जियोविज्ञान राष्ट्रीय अंतर-विद्यालय ओलंपियाड (एनआईएसओ) के प्रबंधन द्वारा लिया गया निर्णय अंतिम होगा और इसमें शामिल सभी पक्षों पर बाध्यकारी होगा।
Students are not permitted to glance around while taking the online exam since the camera will collect images while they are taking the test. If any other individual is captured in the photograph than the student, the student will be disqualified. At the time of the test/exam, a video recording will be made.
If any malpractice is detected in the photograph, audio, or video recording during the test/exam, the student will be disqualified. There will be no further queries about this.
Multiple photos, videos, and audio are randomly taken during the test/exam is completed for any suggestions of answers.
Students are not permitted to access any other tabs while taking an exam since the screen is being recorded. If this is discovered, the student's test/exam is terminated. There will be no further queries about this.
The student login is for ONE TIME ONLY. If numerous logins with the same ID and Password are noticed on separate devices throughout the test/exam, the Student will be disqualified for the specific test/exam.
The rules for online tests/exams are highly tight and play a significant role. As a response, it must be the priority, and no rule violations will be accepted.
Due to the tight confidentiality of the test/exam, no audio-video recording or image capture will be made available to any student, parent, or guardian. No queries about this will be answered.
If the student does not attend the GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) for any reason, he or she will not be given a second opportunity. The student is solely responsible for attending the Exam as scheduled.
If a student fails to attend the GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO), the event will not be rescheduled. There will be no rescheduling. Questions on the same are not entertained.

उत्तर के किसी भी सुझाव के लिए परीक्षण/परीक्षा के दौरान कई फ़ोटो, वीडियो और ऑडियो बेतरतीब ढंग से लिए जाएँगें।
छात्रों को परीक्षा देते समय किसी अन्य टैब को खोलने की अनुमति नहीं होगी क्योंकि स्क्रीन रिकॉर्ड की जा रही होगी। यदि यह पाया जाता है, तो छात्र की परीक्षा समाप्त कर दी जाएगी। इसके बारे में कोई और पूछताछ नहीं की जाएगी।
छात्र लॉगिन केवल एक बार के लिए होगा। यदि परीक्षा के दौरान अलग-अलग उपकरणों पर एक ही आईडी और पासवर्ड के साथ कई लॉगिन देखे जाते हैं, तो छात्र को विशिष्ट परीक्षा के लिए अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया जाएगा।
ऑनलाइन परीक्षा के नियम बहुत कड़े हैं और महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। प्रतिक्रिया के रूप में, यह प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए, और किसी भी नियम का उल्लंघन स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
परीक्षा की सख्त गोपनीयता के कारण, किसी भी छात्र, विद्यालय, माता-पिता या अभिभावक को कोई ऑडियो-वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग या इमेज कैप्चर उपलब्ध नहीं कराया जाएगा। इस बारे में किसी भी प्रश्न का उत्तर नहीं दिया जाएगा।
यदि छात्र किसी कारणवश जियोविज्ञान राष्ट्रीय अंतर-विद्यालय ओलंपियाड (एनआईएसओ) में शामिल नहीं होता है तो उसे दूसरा मौका नहीं दिया जाएगा। छात्र निर्धारित के रूप में परीक्षा में भाग लेने के लिए पूरी तरह से जिम्मेदार है।
यदि कोई छात्र जियोविज्ञान राष्ट्रीय अंतर-विद्यालय ओलंपियाड (एनआईएसओ) में भाग लेने में विफल रहता है, तो ओलंपियाड परीक्षा को पुनर्निर्धारित नहीं किया जाएगा। कोई पुनर्निर्धारण नहीं होगा। इस पर आधारित प्रश्नों पर विचार नहीं किया जाता है।

Once the amount is paid, registration fees for the GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) are non-refundable and non-returnable.
No refund will be made for any registrations done by students 'mistakenly'.
If the student fails to give the GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) on the scheduled date no refund will be provided.
