GeoVigyan’s objective of this training is to introduce participants to research work and help them develop interest in it by understanding how research is carried out and what outcomes it can lead to. While many participants may already have a basic idea of research, true understanding comes only through practical experience. This program will help you explore whether research matches your expectations, assess your interest and skills, and determine if it is the right path for you. Through this initiative, GeoVigyan provides an opportunity to learn directly from experts working in their respective research domains.

The Virtual Summer Training is open to every Earth Science Students and working professional; anyone can take training after successful registration.

Summer Training Rules:

1. Please fill out all details carefully, as they will appear on your certificate.

2. The e-mail and phone number provided by the applicant at the time of registration will only be used by GeoVigyan to contact them for further announcements.

3. After the successful registration within few days the participants will receive a confirmation mail and WhatsApp group link on their registered email, so please read and fill all the asked details carefully, If students fill in the wrong details, then GeoVigyan will not be liable.

4. This Summer Training will be held on the Google meet; the team will send you all the details related class link & materials in your respective WhatsApp group.

5. This is a software based training and PPTS, NOTES, STUDY MATERIAL & RECORDED VIDEOS will be provided.

6. Once the registration has been successfully completed, you cannot cancel your registration and request reimbursement of your registration fee. If anyone makes the payment and didn't get the seat, they will get a full refund of the fee.

7. After the last class of the Summer Training, you will get 15 days time to submit your Training report, after this time limit GeoVigyan will not take any submissions and issue the training certificate.

8. All the participants will get the Training certificate on their respective emails within 7 - 15 days after the successful submission of internship report.

9. The decision made by GeoVigyan will be final and cannot be changed.

***NOTE: No certificate will be provided without the report submission, it is mandatory for every candidate who has enrolled for summer training 2026 to submit a report to GeoVigyan.

Training Topic 1st: "Machine Learning Based Assessment of Environmental Health in Google Earth Engine using RS/GIS"

Duration: 1 July to 30 July 2026

Training Topic 2nd: "An introduction to Geospatial Technologies in Springshed Management"
